First visit with Bobpop

As many of you know Bryant's Dad has been in the Hospital since before Thanksgiving and it was touch and go there for a while. Well we have good news to report. On New Years Eve day Yaya went to visit with him and when she was getting on the elevator to go and visit him his doctor was coming off. He said to her "He's back!!" She went up and sure enough he was back to his old self.

We decided that it was time for Kaitlyn to finally visit him. She was shy, but when your two and a half, it can be a kind of scary experience especially when Bobpop doesn't look like he did before. She visited with him for a while but then wanted to explore so Heidi and Kaitlyn found themselves down in the lobby watching the Rose bowl parade. It was important for Bryant to have the time with his dad seeing how he has not talked to him since this whole thing started.

As we were leaving a nurse came in saying that she was going to take off the rest of his monitors because they were getting ready to "kick him to the curb". They are going to be transferring him to a rehabilitation hospital because after being in bed for so long he is not quite ready to go home yet and needs some physical therapy.
