New year's dinner at the Big Easy Saloon

Last night we went to dinner with Bryant's mother at the Big Easy Saloon. We were very happy with our dinner there, it didn't start out that way though. Susan had gotten there shortly before us and called us to say that they were not serving dinner which annoyed Bryant because he had called to make reservations and they took his name and said that everything was good and that they would see us there. Turns out that they had had a private party book and were charging $100 a person. What we found out was that the person that took our reservation was not suppose to and that she took other reservations. The owner was extremely apologetic and said that we could order from the menu for the party and he would charge us just for what we ordered.
The food was great even Kaitlyn's chicken fingers (which was a breded chicken cutlet cut in to strips) and fries were great! Heidi had the slow roasted prim rib, Bryant had the seafood jambalaya and Susan had the scallops. All of our meals were very good and I would highly recommend it to everyone. By the way don't let the word saloon fool you it is a nice restaurant along the same lines as the Main Street Cafe.
