A Day at the Beach

Before I get into our day at the beach I have to tell you how we came to this point. Normally on Labor Day weekend we go up to the condo, but this year Bryant had to much work to get done and the weather was not suppose to be good. We decided to stay home and go to the beach on one of the nice days, so that brings us to today.

We got up around 7 and picked up Yaya and Bobpop then headed for Ocean City, NJ. We had not been to the beach to swim all summer and with the way Kaitlyn swam at the pool this year she was all over the water. She had no fear of it and would lie down in the surf and just let it push her around (with Mom or Dad close by), even a wave in the face didn't bother her, she would just smile and go in for more. It was a long day and by 5 we were all ready to leave. It was a great way to spend the last Sunday of the summer.

Kaitlyn getting tossed around by the waves.

I had to put this picture in because it shows Kaitlyn eating the sand!!! I cannot believed she liked it. We were constantly telling her not to eat the sand (it runs chills down my spine just thinking of it).

Kaitlyn's baby crab that she found and wanted to take home, but he needed to stay so he wouldn't miss his family.

Dancing on the beach.
