Ocean City, Maryland

With Bryant being on his yearly golf outing Kaitlyn and I went on our yearly beach day. This year we went with Kaitlyn's best friend Vivian, her mother Sarah and brother Jude. It was a busy day that started at 9am and ended at midnight. We went to an Ocean City, Maryland beach, to Assateague to see the wild horses, and then on to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for dinner.

The forecast for the day was cloudy with scatted showers in the afternoon. It turned out to be a beautiful day. At the beach it was windy, a little chilly, and some fog blew in but it soon burned off and it turned out to be a beautiful day!

The two headed Mermaid

Kaitlyn loves the beach (it is in her blood), at one point she put her whole face in the sand (hence the sandy face).

A horse on Assateague.

Some fawns that we saw on the side of the rode.

The girls sat in their car seats unbuckled, and they would get up and look out the window when we came upon a horse. This the girls really enjoyed.

At one point this horse walked away and was so close that it almost knocked Kaitlyn over. Needless to say this took Kaitlyn by surprise.
